Very aesthetic and cozy coffee shop. They have a satisfying and reasonably priced coffee, and I enjoyed the homemade oat bars. The name of the cafe, as confirmed by the barista, is based on the live oak trees you see in the Carolinas, which have big beautiful limbs that spread far and wide create big canopies. I used to live in Wilmington, NC so this reminded me of my prior home. The inside reflects the name by having a lot greenery and a variety of comfortable places to sit. Great spot for a Saturday morning pick me up

I went to college / used to work in up in the uptown area, and I always loved coming here to study, and grab a chai tea 🫶 They have such a cute vibe / fun little details. I love the sense of “local” that they have in there with the Bay City map on the wall!

I have been to a few Live Oak Coffeehouses in the mid-Michigan area, and each one has been a great experience. The coffee is of high quality, and just tastes good, I highly recommend it. Whether you are a regular coffee drinker, or you enjoy specialty coffee like a cappuccino, the coffee is just... Great!

What a great little coffee shop. I ordered an almond milk macchiato. It was delicious. The presentation of the macchiato was average, so I wanted to test out the flavor of the cortado. I ordered a cortado with the unsweetened almond milk. The flavor of the cortado was perfect. The presentation was average. I usually look for a beautiful presentation, but as long as the flavor is amazing, I'm OK with it They have some baked goods here. They offer several different types of muffins and cookies. They also sell bags of whole bean coffee, honey, etc. The staff was amazing. The woman that waited on me was very kind, helpful and friendly. I like the message this coffee shop is sending to. They sell some shirts that are basically about being a kind person and a good human. I love that message. This was a great little find. They lose one star for presentation.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LIVE OAK OF BC!!!! Tasty drink options and lots of them (although, PLEASE bring back the s’mores cold brew!!!). AWESOME staff! Some times I just go for some Avery and Ellory time! They are always so upbeat, kind, fun to chat with and absolutely wonderful in every way. Feel free to open up shop on the other side of the river as well though please (and make sure the Dynamic sis duo works there often)!!!

Had a very refreshing blood orange ice tea here. Place looks nice and clean. Comfy atmosphere and friendly staff. Dog friendly 🐕 👍🏻 Saginaw River boardwalk is right there to enjoy your drink. Recommended this place and will be back again.

Super cute, cheerful, and inviting coffee house. They offer a nice variety and make their own flavor sauces and syrups. The drinks we got were the Vanilla Latte and a White Chocolate frappe. They had a bunch of plants and greenery in the shop with a nice lounge area. Perfect for a nice little hangout. Honestly the best I've had in a long time. It was our first time at Live Oak Coffeehouse and it will not be the last. They outdo Stardollars any day! Thank you for a lovely experience! Keep up the good work.

Heading up to St. Ignace & needed some coffee halfway through. We usually don’t go so far off the highway to stop but glad we did! Really cute shop with lots of pastry options. The baristas were super sweet and let us use our to-go coffee mugs which we always appreciate. Got our regular oat milk lattes and they were great!Pastries looked incredible so may have to stop and grab some on the way home! We’ll be back for sure! 🫶🏼

The decaf espresso was dialed in (Thank you)!!!! I had a macchiato which was spot-on and then a latte. Loved the little cups used to serve the macchiato:-) The drinks are espresso forward which is great for a coffee-lover. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. Highly recommend!
